In its inaugural application, Ember Limestone brings a touch of timeless elegance to this unique Atherton family home project. Stone selection was pivotal in shaping the overall aesthetic and functionality of the space. Chosen for its warmth and earthy elegance, Ember Limestone bridges interior comfort with the allure of the outdoors.
One of the most enchanting features of this Atherton home is the front entryway, where stone takes center stage. Landscape designer Janell Denler Hobart created a unique water rill feature, which enchants visitors at the entrance to the residence. Ember Limestone lays a backdrop that fuses nature and architectural sophistication, creating a retreat within the heart of the residence.
The stone further extends its timeless charm to the veranda space connected to the family room. With the ability to enclose the area with curtains, or leave it open to the pool area and yard, the stone gives way to an inviting outdoor sanctuary, for both relaxation and entertainment.
Finally, Ember Limestone connects the indoor and outdoor spaces of the dining pavilion, nestled between the primary courtyard and pool, creating a dining experience integrated into the surrounding landscape.
